Mahasiswa IAIN Parepare Resmi Menjadi Relawan Pajak 2026

Public Relations IAIN Parepare — Muh. Yusuf S., a seventh-semester student of the Islamic Economics Study Program at the State Islamic Institute of Parepare, successfully graduated as a Tax Volunteer for the Country (Renjani) in 2026. This graduation was achieved through a national selection organized by the Directorate General of Taxes.

Representing the Tax Center of IAIN Parepare, Yusuf has officially been placed at the Parepare Primary Tax Office and will serve for one year, from January to December 2026. This assignment began with the inauguration ceremony of tax volunteers held on January 28, 2026.

The Head of the Quality Development, Student Career, and Alumni Center (PPMKMA) of IAIN Parepare, Umaima, M.E.I., expressed appreciation for this achievement. She considers Yusuf's graduation a strategic step for students to hone their professional competencies, especially in public service and direct tax practice.

"The Renjani program serves as a real learning space for students to build integrity, work experience, and social awareness, while also strengthening the contribution of higher education in supporting government policies," said Umaima.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Parepare Pratama Tax Office, Helmy Afrul, welcomed the presence of tax volunteers. According to him, the collaboration between tax authorities and higher education institutions, including the Tax Center of IAIN Parepare, is a strategic partnership in enhancing public tax literacy and compliance.

During their service, tax volunteers will be directly involved in assisting with the Annual Tax Return reporting, helping with the creation of Tax Identification Numbers (NPWP), and providing tax education to taxpayers. The participation of the Tax Center of IAIN Parepare in this Renjani program emphasizes the campus's commitment to community service and strengthening national tax compliance. (Irm/Tin)
